Marys Room surveys the phenomenon of the Young-Girl as a figure and instrument of power.

The exhibition references a knowledge argument “What Mary Didn’t Know” by Frank Jackson, where Mary is confined to live in a black and white room.

Mary’s Room was curated with Nana Cheon

Aurora explores compression, hauntology and craft. The subject is a patchwork quilt created by my great grandmother, Gloria.

The video was compressed through a PNG image processor, transforming 8 minutes and 10 seconds of footage into 5,497 individual frames. I re-sequenced the frames by hand at 0.04-second intervals, reconstructing the video frame by frame. 

On the Impossibility of Drawing a Map explores geography, simulation, and empire. The exhibition references a short story by Jorge Luis Borges, On Exactitude in Science, of a cartographer whose 1:1 map of the Empire’s territory is abandoned to the desert of the West. 

Selected artworks were installed in the style of early‑2000s internet cafés.
